ततस्ते कृष्णहृदयाः स्वाश्रमान्प्रययुः पुनः ॥ ४७ ॥
tatas te kṛṣṇa-hṛdayāḥ svāśramān prayayuḥ punaḥ
Synonyms
[tathā176] hṛṣṭāḥ — being thus pleased [by these proceedings (tataś ca)177]; munayaḥ — the sages; tuṣṭuvuḥ — glorified; kṛṣṇam — Śrī Kṛṣṇa; tat-guhya-nāmabhiḥ — by uttering His confidential names [such as Kṛṣṇa and Govinda, which signify His transrational glory (dustarkya mahima-vyañjaka-nāma-bhiḥ);178 or by His names that are extremely confidential, being the pinnacle of the Vedas (veda-śiro-gatātyanta-rahasya-nāmabhiḥ)179]; tataḥ — thereupon; kṛṣṇa-hṛdayāḥ — keeping Kṛṣṇa in their hearts; te — they; prayayuḥ — returned; punaḥ — once again; sva-āśramān — to their respective hermitages.
Translation
Being pleased by these proceedings, the sages glorified Śrī Kṛṣṇa by uttering His confidential names. Thereupon, keeping Kṛṣṇa in their hearts, they returned once again to their respective hermitages.
