SB 1.9.45

तत्र दुन्दुभयो नेदुर्देवमानववादिताः ।
शशंसुः साधवो राज्ञां खात्पेतुः पुष्पवृष्टयः ॥ ४५ ॥
tatra dundubhayo nedur deva-mānava-vāditāḥ
śaśaṁsuḥ sādhavo rājñāṁ khāt petuḥ puṣpa-vṛṣṭayaḥ

Synonyms

tatra — thereafter [tadā167]; dundubhayaḥ — kettledrums; neduḥ — resounded [dadhvanuḥ]; vāditāḥ — being played; deva — [by] gods; mānava — [and] human beings; sādhavaḥ — the virtuous [those who were free from envy (anasūyavaḥ);168 and devoted to Bhagavān (bhāgavatāḥ)]; rājñām — among kings [rājñāṁ madhye169]; śaśaṁsuḥ — eulogized [Bhīṣma]; puṣpa-vṛṣṭayaḥ — [while] showers of flowers; petuḥ — fell [patitā]; khāt — from the sky [ākāśāt170].

Translation

Thereafter, kettledrums resounded, being played by gods and humans. The virtuous among kings eulogized Bhīṣma, while showers of flowers fell from the sky.
