SB 1.8.44

सूत उवाच
पृथयेत्थं कलपदैः परिणूताखिलोदयः ।
मन्दं जहास वैकुण्ठो मोहयन्निव मायया ॥ ४४ ॥
sūta uvāca
pṛthayetthaṁ kala-padaiḥ pariṇūtākhilodayaḥ
mandaṁ jahāsa vaikuṇṭho mohayann iva māyayā

Synonyms

sūtaḥ — Śrī Sūta; uvāca — said; vaikuṇṭhaḥ — Vaikuṇṭha [Śrī Kṛṣṇa174]; akhilaḥ — [whose] complete; udayaḥ — glory [mahimā175]; pariṇūtaḥ — was eloquently praised [(saṁsthutaḥ);176 (parigītaḥ)177]; ittham — in this manner [as previously described (pūrvokta-prakāreṇa)178]; pṛthayā — by Pṛthā [Kuntī]; kala-padaiḥ — with endearing words [madhurāṇi padāni taiḥ vākyaiḥ179]; jahāsa — smiled; mandam — gently [īṣat]; iva — as if; mohayan — to enchant [her]; māyayā — by His affection [premṇaiva180].

Translation

Śrī Sūta said: Vaikuṇṭha [Śrī Kṛṣṇa], whose complete glory was thus eloquently praised by Kuntī with endearing words, smiled gently, as if to enchant her by His affection (māyā).
