SB 1.8.39

नेयं शोभिष्यते तत्र यथेदानीं गदाधर ।
त्वत्पदैरङ्किता भाति स्वलक्षणविलक्षितैः ॥ ३९ ॥
neyaṁ śobhiṣyate tatra yathedānīṁ gadādhara
tvat-padair aṅkitā bhāti sva-lakṣaṇa-vilakṣitaiḥ

Synonyms

gadādhara — O Wielder of the mace [Gadādhara, Kṛṣṇa]; tatra — then [upon Your departure (tadā tvayi nirgate sati)149]; iyam — this land [which is under our guardianship (asmat-pālyā-bhūmiḥ)]; na śobhiṣyate — will not appear as beautiful; yathā — as; bhāti — it shines [śobhate150]; idānīm — at present [adhunā151]; aṅkitā — being imprinted; tvat-padaiḥ — by Your feet; vilakṣitaiḥ — that are distinguished [cihnitaiḥ]; sva-lakṣaṇa — [by] Your own distinctive marks [such as the thunderbolt and goad (svair asādhāraṇair vajrāṅkuṣādibhir lakṣaṇaiḥ)].

Translation

O Gadādhara! Upon Your departure, this land will not appear as beautiful as it shines at present, being imprinted by Your feet that are distinguished by Your own distinctive marks.
