त एव पश्यन्त्यचिरेण तावकं भवप्रवाहोपरमं पदाम्बुजम् ॥ ३६ ॥
smaranti nandanti tavehitaṁ janāḥ
ta eva paśyanty acireṇa tāvakaṁ
bhava-pravāhoparamaṁ padāmbujam
Synonyms
te — those; janāḥ eva — persons alone; [who (ye)137]; abhīkṣṇaśaḥ — conti-nuously [nirantaram138]; śṛṇvanti — hear; gāyanti — sing; gṛṇanti — praise; smaranti — remember; nandanti — [or] relish [or approve when sung by others (anyaiḥ kīrtyamānam abhinandanti)]; tava — Your; īhitam — divine acts [caritam]; acireṇa — quickly [śīghram eva139]; paśyanti — behold; tāvakam — Your [tvadīyam]; pada-ambujam — lotus feet; uparamam — which put an end [nivarttayati tathā-bhūtam140]; bhava-pravāha — to the flow of material existence [of repeated birth and death (janma-paramparāyā)].
Translation
Those persons alone who continuously hear, sing, praise, remember, or relish Your divine acts quickly behold Your lotus feet, which put an end to the flow of material existence.
