SB 1.5.35

यदत्र क्रियते कर्म भगवत्परितोषणम् ।
ज्ञानं यत्तदधीनं हि भक्तियोगसमन्वितम् ॥ ३५ ॥
yad atra kriyate karma bhagavat-paritoṣaṇam
jñānaṁ yat tad adhīnaṁ hi bhakti-yoga-samanvitam

Synonyms

jñānam — knowledge [pertaining to Bhagavān (bhāgavatam)148]; yat — which; samanvitam — is intimately connected with [tena samavetam]; bhakti-yoga — the yoga of devotion [in the form of singing, remembering, and so on (kīrtana smaraṇādi rūpaḥ)]; adhīnam hi — is certainly dependent upon [follows as an inevitable result of (tad-avyabhicāri phalam ity arthaḥ)]; tat — that; karma — unconditional action [niśkāma-karma149]; yat — which; kriyate — is performed; atra — in this world [loke150]; paritoṣaṇam — for the pleasure; bhagavat — [of] Bhagavān; [whereas jñāna devoid of bhakti, being incapable of awarding liberation (moksa-sādhakatvāśakteḥ), has indeed been deprecated (tiraskāra eva dṛṣṭaḥ) in Nārada’s earlier statement (naiṣkarmyam apy acyuta-bhāva-varjitam, SB 1.5.12)151].

Translation

Knowledge that is intimately connected with bhakti-yoga is certainly an inevitable result of unconditional action performed in this world for the pleasure of Bhagavān.
