SB 1.3.8

तृतीयमृषिसर्गं वै देवर्षित्वमुपेत्य सः ।
तन्त्रं सात्वतमाचष्ट नैष्कर्म्यं कर्मणां यतः ॥ ८ ॥
tṛtīyam ṛṣi-sargaṁ vai devarṣitvam upetya saḥ
tantraṁ sātvatam ācaṣṭa naiṣkarmyaṁ karmaṇāṁ yataḥ

Synonyms

saḥ vai — that very [Puruṣa]; upetya — accepting; tṛtīyam — the third; sargam — advent [prādurbhāvam40]; ṛṣi — as a seer [among the seers (ṛṣiṣu), and among them (tatra ca)41]; devarṣitvam — in the form of the celestial sage, Śrī Nārada; ācaṣṭa — transmitted [or imparted (uktavān)42]; sātvatam — the Sātvata [Vaiṣṇava]; tantram — tantra [the Pañcarātra and Āgamas]; yataḥ — by which; karmaṇām [eva] — actions themselves [the acts of bhagavad-dharma that are propounded in the Vaiṣṇava-tantra43]; naiṣkarmyam [bhavati44] — [become the cause of] the state of freedom from bondage to action [(karma-bandha-mocakatvam);45 or attain to the state whereby their sense of being action in general (karmatvam), meaning their sense of being the cause of bondage (bandha-hetutvam) is rendered extinct (nirgatam)].

Translation

That very [Puruṣa], accepting the third advent as a seer in the form of the celestial sage, Śrī Nārada, transmitted the Sātvata-tantra, by which, actions themselves become the cause of the state of freedom from bondage to action.
