SB 1.3.12

ततः सप्तम आकूत्यां रुचेर्यज्ञोऽभ्यजायत ।
स यामाद्यैः सुरगणैरपात्स्वायम्भुवान्तरम् ॥ १२ ॥
tataḥ saptama ākūtyāṁ rucer yajño’bhyajāyata
sa yāmādyaiḥ sura-gaṇair apāt svāyambhuvāntaram

Synonyms

tataḥ — thereafter; saptame — in the seventh advent [avatāre62]; [the Puruṣa]; abhyajāyata — appeared; yajñaḥ — as Yajña; ākūtyām — in [the womb of] Ākūti; ruceḥ — from Ruci; sura-gaṇaiḥ — [assisted] by the hosts of devas [devaiḥ saha63]; yama-ādyaiḥ — headed by Yāma and others [who were His sons (svasyaiva putraiḥ)]; saḥ — He; [personally accepted the post of Indra (svayam indro’bhūt)]; apāt — [and] presided over [pālitavān]; svāyambhuva-antaram — the period of Svāyambhuva manvantara.

Translation

Thereafter, in the seventh avātara, the Puruṣa appeared as Yajña in the womb of Ākūti from Ruci. Assisted by the hosts of devas headed by Yāma and others, who were His sons, He [personally accepted the post of Indra and] presided over the period of Svāyambhuva manvantara.
