Having entered immanently into these universal qualitative constituents (the guṇas) brought forth by that extrinsic potency (māyā), Bhagavān appears as if endowed with the material guṇas. [Yet He is not so in reality because] He is established in His own supreme power by virtue of His potency of pure consciousness.
