Translation

That very same Parīkṣit relinquished his attachment to all worldly objects and became a disciple of the son of Vyāsa [Śukadeva]. Having immediately intuited the ontological truth of Ajita [Śrī Kṛṣṇa], he gave up his body on the bank of the Gaṅgā.
