यस्य क्षणवियोगेन लोको ह्यप्रियदर्शनः ।
उक्थेन रहितो ह्येष मृतकः प्रोच्यते यथा ॥ ६ ॥

yasya kṣaṇa-viyogena loko hy apriya-darśanaḥ
ukthena rahito hy eṣa mṛtakaḥ procyate yathā

Synonyms
kṣaṇa-viyogena — by even a moment’s separation [kṣaṇa-mātra-viyogenāpi24]; yasya — of whose [from Him, Śrī Kṛṣṇa]; [ayam25] lokaḥ hi — [this] world itself; apriya-darśanaḥ — appears unattractive; yathā — just as; eṣaḥ hi — this very body [(dehaḥ);26 or these same relatives (pitrādiḥ)27]; procyate — is termed; mṛtakaḥ — a corpse [śavaḥ28]; rahitaḥ — when deprived; ukthena — of its life force [prāṇena]; [what is exemplified here is the becoming undear even of that which was previously dear (priyasyāpy apriyate dṛṣṭāntaḥ)].
Translation
By even a moment’s separation from Him [Śrī Kṛṣṇa], this world itself appears unattractive, just as this very body is termed a corpse when deprived of its life force.
