Translation

This same Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Regulator of all beings and the Animator of all life, whose lotus feet are worshiped by the most highly evolved individuals for the purpose of liberation, was engaged by a fool like me in the ordinary task of being my charioteer. It is due to His unlimited power that the enemy chariot warriors had their minds bewildered and could not strike me, even though I stood on the ground with exhausted horses.
