SB 1.14.17

सूर्यं हतप्रभं पश्य ग्रहमर्दं मिथो दिवि ।
ससङ्कुलैर्भूतगणैर्ज्वलिते इव रोदसी ॥ १७ ॥
sūryaṁ hata-prabhaṁ paśya graha-mardaṁ mitho divi
sasaṅkulair bhūta-gaṇair jvalite iva rodasī

Synonyms

paśya — see [how]; sūryam — the sun; hata-prabham — has lost its effulgence; graha-mardam — [and] the planets are colliding [grahāṇāṁ yuddham61]; mithaḥ — with one another [parasparam62]; divi — in the heavens [or space (ākāśe)63]; rodasī — heaven and earth [dvāvāpṛthivyau]; jvalite iva — appear to be ablaze [pradīpte iva]; sa-saṅkulaiḥ — with throngs [vyāmiśraiḥ prāṇibhiḥ sahitaiḥ]; bhūta-gaṇaiḥ — [of] ghastly beings [the attendants of Rudra (rudrānucarās teṣāṁ gaṇaiḥ)].

Translation

See how the sun has lost its effulgence and the planets are colliding with one another in the heavens. Heaven and earth appear to be ablaze with throngs of ghastly beings [the attendants of Rudra].
