SB 1.13.57

दह्यमानेऽग्निभिर्देहे पत्युः पत्नी सहोटजे ।
बहिः स्थिता पतिं साध्वी तमग्निमनु वेक्ष्यति ॥ ५७ ॥
dahyamāne’gnibhir dehe patyuḥ patnī sahoṭaje
bahiḥ sthitā patiṁ sādhvī tam agnim anu vekṣyati

Synonyms

[In case Yudhiṣṭhira might then have thought to go and bring back Gāndhārī, Nārada denies even this possibility in the next verse (tarhi gāndhāry ānayanāya gamiṣyāmi nety āha).196]; dehe — [when] the body; patyuḥ — of her husband; saha-uṭaje — along with the grass hut [parṇa-śālā-sahite]; dahyamāne — is consumed; agnibhiḥ — by the fire [of yoga (yogāgninā)]; sādhvī — [Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s] chaste; patnī — wife [Gāndhārī]; sthitā — standing; bahiḥ — outside; vekṣyati — will enter [pravekṣyati]; tam — that; agnim — fire; patim anu — in pursuance of her husband.

Translation

When her husband’s body along with the grass hut is consumed by the fire of yoga, Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s chaste wife Gāndhārī, standing outside, will enter that fire in pursuance of her husband.
