SB 1.13.35

विमृज्याश्रूणि पाणिभ्यां विष्टभ्यात्मानमात्मना ।
अजातशत्रुं प्रत्यूचे प्रभोः पादावनुस्मरन् ॥ ३५ ॥
vimṛjyāśrūṇi pāṇibhyāṁ viṣṭabhyātmānam ātmanā
ajāta-śatruṁ pratyūce prabhoḥ pādāv anusmaran

Synonyms

vimṛjya — wiping; aśrūṇi — his tears; pāṇibhyām — with his hands; viṣṭabhya — [and] steadying [(dhairya-yuktaṁ kṛtvā);112 (sthirīkṛtya)113]; ātmānam — his mind [(manaḥ), which is characterized by its primary functions of thinking and doubting (saṅkalpa-vikalpātmakam)]; ātmanā — by his intellect [(buddhyā);114 or by intellect rooted in discernment (vivekātmikayā dhiyā)]; pratyūce — he replied [uttaraṁ dattavān]; ajāta-śatrum — to Yudhiṣṭhira; anusmaran — while recollecting; pādau — the feet; prabhoḥ — of his master [dhṛtarāṣṭrasya].

Translation

Wiping his tears with his hands and steadying his mind by his intellect, he replied to Yudhiṣṭhira while recollecting the feet of his master [Dhṛtarāṣṭra].
