SB 1.12.35

आहूतो भगवान्राज्ञा याजयित्वा द्विजैर्नृपम् ।
उवास कतिचिन्मासान्सुहृदां प्रियकाम्यया ॥ ३५ ॥
āhūto bhagavān rājñā yājayitvā dvijair nṛpam
uvāsa katicin māsān suhṛdāṁ priya-kāmyayā

Synonyms

bhagavān — Bhagavān [Śrī Kṛṣṇa99]; āhūtaḥ — who was invited [to the yajña]; rājñā — by the king; nṛpam yājayitvā — [and] who impelled King Yudhiṣṭhira to have the sacrifices performed; dvijaiḥ — by the brāhmaṇas; [tatra] uvāsa — remained there; katicit — for some; māsān — months; priya-kāmyayā — with the intent to please [prītiṁ kartum icchayā]; suhṛdām — His dear friends and relatives [(premavatām), headed by Yudhiṣṭhira].

Translation

Bhagavān Śrī Kṛṣṇa, who was invited to the yajña by the king and who impelled King Yudhiṣṭhira to have the sacrifices performed by the brāhmaṇas, remained there for some months with the intent to please His dear friends and relatives.
