SB 1.12.34

तेन सम्भृतसम्भारो धर्मपुत्रो युधिष्ठिरः ।
वाजिमेधैस्त्रिभिर्भीतो यज्ञैः समयजद्धरिम् ॥ ३४ ॥
tena sambhṛta-sambhāro dharma-putro yudhiṣṭhiraḥ
vājimedhais tribhir bhīto yajñaiḥ samayajad dharim

Synonyms

sambhṛta — having procured [sampādita97]; sambhāraḥ — the necessary articles for the sacrifice [yajñopakaraṇaḥ]; tena — by the wealth thus obtained [nītena dhanena98]; yudhiṣṭhiraḥ — King Yudhiṣṭhira; dharma-putraḥ — the son of Dharma; bhītaḥ — who was apprehensive [about the sin of violence against his relatives (jñātyādi-vadha-nimittāt pāpāt)]; sam-ayajat — consummately worshiped [(samyak ayajat), meaning that he worshiped with devotion (bhakti-pūrvakam) and without any omission of mantras, sacred rites (tantra), and requisite paraphernalia (dravya)]; harim — Hari [Śrī Kṛṣṇa]; tribhiḥ — by [performing] three; vājimedhaiḥ yajñaiḥ — horse sacrifices.

Translation

Having procured the necessary articles for the sacrifice by the wealth thus obtained, King Yudhiṣṭhira, the son of Dharma, who was apprehensive [about the sin of violence against his relatives], consummately worshiped Hari [Śrī Kṛṣṇa] by performing three horse sacrifices.
