SB 1.11.20

नटनर्तकगन्धर्वाः सूतमागधवन्दिनः ।
गायन्ति चोत्तमश्लोकचरितान्यद्भुतानि च ॥ २० ॥
naṭa-nartaka-gandharvāḥ sūta-māgadha-vandinaḥ
gāyanti cottamaśloka-caritāny adbhutāni ca

Synonyms

naṭa — the actors [those skilled in the portrayal of the nine rasas (nava-rasābhinaya-caturāḥ)58]; nartaka — dancers [who move in time with the music (tālādy anusāreṇa nṛtyanta)]; gandharvāḥ — singers [gāyakāḥ]; sūta — Paurāṇika storytellers [paurāṇikāḥ proktāḥ]; māgadha — eulogists [of the dynasty (vaṁśa-śaṁsakāḥ)]; ca — and; vandinaḥ — bards [of spotless intellect (amala-prajnāḥ), uttering praises appropriate to the occasion (prastāva-sadṛśoktayaḥ)]; [all came forward (agrato jagmuḥ)59]; gāyanti ca — and glorified; adbhutāni — the wonderful; caritāni — deeds; uttamaśloka — [of] Śrī Kṛṣṇa, who is praised in choice poetry.

Translation

The actors, dancers, singers, Puranic storytellers, eulogists, and bards, all came forward and glorified the wonderful deeds of Śrī Kṛṣṇa, who is praised in choice poetry.
