SB 1.7.42

तथाहृतं पशुवत्पाशबद्धमवाङ्मुखं कर्मजुगुप्सितेन ।
निरीक्ष्य कृष्णापकृतं गुरोः सुतं वामस्वभावा कृपया ननाम च ॥ ४२ ॥
tathāhṛtaṁ paśuvat pāśa-baddham
avāṅ-mukhaṁ karma-jugupsitena
nirīkṣya kṛṣṇāpakṛtaṁ guroḥ sutaṁ
vāma-svabhāvā kṛpayā nanāma ca

Synonyms

kṛṣṇā — Draupadī; vāma-svabhāvā — who was gracious by nature [śobhanaḥ svabhāvā157]; nirīkṣya — looked [dṛṣṭvā158]; kṛpayā — compassionately [upon]; ca — and; nanāma — bowed down to; apakṛtam — the offender [apakāriṇam]; sutam — the son; guroḥ — of their teacher; āhṛtam — who was brought [ānītam]; tathā — in this manner [humiliated (paribhavena); and disgraced (apamānena)159]; pāśa-baddham — bound with ropes; paśu-vat — like an animal; avāk-mukham — [and] with downward turned face [(adho-mukham), hiding his face out of shame (lajjayā mukham apradarśayantam)160]; karma-jugupsitena — due to the abominable nature of his act [(karma-ninditena) of killing innocent children (bāla-vadha-rūpeṇa)161].

Translation

Draupadī, who was gracious by nature, looked compassionately upon, and bowed down to, the son of their teacher, who was brought in this manner, bound with ropes like an animal and with downward turned face due to the abominable nature of his act.
