SB 1.3.24

ततः कलौ सम्प्रवृत्ते सम्मोहाय सुरद्विषाम् ।
बुद्धो नाम्नाञ्जनसुतः कीकटेषु भविष्यति ॥ २४ ॥
tataḥ kalau sampravṛtte sammohāya sura-dviṣām
buddho nāmnāñjana-sutaḥ

Synonyms

tataḥ — thereafter [in the twenty-first advent (eka-viṁśaḥ avatāraḥ)111]; kalau — when Kaliyuga; sampravṛtte — is already underway; [the Puruṣa]; bhaviṣyati — will appear; añjana-sutaḥ — as the son of Añjana; nāmnā — named; buddhaḥ — Buddha; kīkaṭeṣu — in Kīkaṭa [North Bihar, in the district of Gayā (gayā-pradeśe)112]; sammohāya — for the purpose of bewildering; sura-dviṣām — those who are averse to the Divinity of God [particularly, the class of mendicants known as the Ārhatas (ārhatānām);113 or those who are unfit to transmit the Vedic path (ayogyānāṁ veda-mārge pravarttamānānām)114].

Translation

Thereafter [in the twenty-first avatāra], when Kaliyuga is already underway, the Puruṣa will appear as the son of Añjana, named Buddha, in Kīkaṭa [in the district of Gayā], for the purpose of bewildering those who are averse to the Divinity of God.
