SB 1.19.35

अपि मे भगवान्प्रीतः कृष्णः पाण्डुसुतप्रियः ।
पैतृष्वसेयप्रीत्यर्थं तद्गोत्रस्यात्तबान्धवः ॥ ३५ ॥
api me bhagavān prītaḥ kṛṣṇaḥ pāṇḍu-suta-priyaḥ
paitṛ-ṣvaseya-prīty-arthaṁ tad-gotrasyātta-bāndhavaḥ

Synonyms

bhagavān — Bhagavān; kṛṣṇaḥ — Śrī Kṛṣṇa; pāṇḍu-suta-priyaḥ — [who is] dear to the Pāṇḍavas [(pāṇdu-sutānāṁ priyaḥ);259 or whose dear ones are the Pāṇḍavas (pāṇdu-sutāḥ priyā yasya saḥ)260]; prītaḥ api — must be pleased [(prasannaḥ syāt), here the word api signifies a supposition (api śabdaḥ sambhāvanā-dyotakaḥ)261]; me — [with] me [mahyam262]; tat-gotrasya — who have appeared in their dynasty [teṣāṁ gotraṁ yasya so’ham]; [since (yasmāt)]; ātta — [He has] accepted [svīkṛtam263]; [me (me)]; bāndhavaḥ — [as] a friend [or made me His friend (bandhu-kṛtyam)264]; prīti-artham — [simply] to please [prītaye]; paitṛ-ṣvaseya — His cousins [Yudhiṣṭhira and his brothers (yudhiṣṭhirādīnām);265 those born from His father’s sister, Kuntī (pitur bhaginī pitṛ-ṣvasā kuntī tasyā apatyāni), implying that it is by their influence alone that Bhagavān has bestowed such grace upon me (tat-prasādas tu tat-pitṛ-ṣvasuḥ santāna-prabhāvatvāt)266]; [from this, it can be inferred that it is by Bhagavān Śrī Kṛṣṇa alone that you have been sent to deliver me (tasmāt tenaiva tvaṁ man-nistārārthaṁ preṣito’sīty anumīyate iti bhāvaḥ)267].

Translation

Bhagavān Śrī Kṛṣṇa, who is dear to the Pāṇḍavas, must be pleased with me, who have appeared in their dynasty, since He has accepted me as a friend simply to please His cousins.
