SB 1.18.49

इति पुत्रकृताघेन सोऽनुतप्तो महामुनिः ।
स्वयं विप्रकृतो राज्ञा नैवाघं तदचिन्तयत् ॥ ४९ ॥
iti putra-kṛtāghena so’nutapto mahā-muniḥ
svayaṁ viprakṛto rājñā naivāghaṁ tad acintayat

Synonyms

saḥ — this; mahā-muniḥ — great sage; anutaptaḥ — felt remorse; iti — in this manner [ittham390]; aghena — on account of the sin; kṛta — committed; putra — [by] his son; [yet (kiṁ ca);391 i.e., kintu]; svayam — for his own part; viprakṛtaḥ [api392] — [although] disrespected [(apakṛtaḥ);393 (tiraskṛtaḥ)394]; rājñā — by the king; na eva acintayat — he took no account whatsoever [na abhāvayat395]; tat — [of] that; agham — offense [aparādham396].

Translation

This great sage felt remorse in this manner on account of the sin committed by his son, yet for his own part, although disrespected by the king, he took no account whatsoever of that offense.
