SB 1.17.14

जनेऽनागस्यघं युञ्जन्सर्वतोऽस्य च मद्भयम् ।
साधूनां भद्रमेव स्यादसाधुदमने कृते ॥ १४ ॥
jane’nāgasy aghaṁ yuñjan sarvato’sya ca mad-bhayam
sādhūnāṁ bhadram eva syād asādhu-damane kṛte

Synonyms

[a person who (yaḥ)69]; yuñjan — inflicts [kurvan]; agham — harm [or suffering (duḥkham)]; anāgasi — upon innocent [niraparādhe70]; jane — living beings; asya — he [of such vile nature (evaṁ bhūtasya)]; mat-bhayam — [should] fear me [lit., “should have fear from me” (mattaḥ sakāśāt bhayaṁ bhavati)]; sarvataḥ ca — in all respects [(sarvatrāpi); on all accounts (sarvata eva hetubhyaḥ);71 at all times and in all places (sarvasmin kāle sarvasmin deśe ca)72]; asādhu — [when] offenders; damane kṛte — are subdued; bhadram — the well-being; sādhūnām — of the innocent; eva — [is] certainly; syāt — assured [bhavet].

Translation

A person who inflicts harm upon innocent living beings should fear me in all respects. When offenders are subdued, the well-being of the innocent is certainly assured.
