SB 1.16.11

स्वलङ्कृतं श्यामतुरङ्गयोजितं रथं मृगेन्द्रध्वजमाश्रितः पुरात् ।
वृतो रथाश्वद्विपपत्तियुक्तया स्वसेनया दिग्विजयाय निर्गतः ॥ ११ ॥
svalaṅkṛtaṁ śyāma-turaṅga-yojitaṁ
rathaṁ mṛgendra-dhvajam āśritaḥ purāt
vṛto rathāśva-dvipapatti-yuktayā
sva-senayā digvijayāya nirgataḥ

Synonyms

āśritaḥ — riding [or mounted (ādhiṣṭhitaḥ)42]; su-alaṅkṛtam — [on] a beautifully decorated; ratham — chariot; yojitam — drawn; śyāma — [by] black; turaṅga — horses; dhvajam — [and bearing] a flag; mṛga-indra — marked with the insignia of a lion [siṁhas tenāṅkito dhvajo yasmiṁs tam43]; [Parīkṣit]; nirgataḥ — set out; purāt — from the capital; digvijayāya — for the purpose of conquering the world [for the purpose of subduing the miscreant kings residing in various regions (tat-tad-dik-sthita duṣṭa-rājādi-vaśīkārāya)44]; vṛtaḥ — surrounded [parivṛtaḥ]; sva-senayā — by his own army; yuktayā — which was equipped; ratha — [with] chariots; aśva — horses; dvipapatti — elephants and infantry.

Translation

Riding on a beautifully decorated chariot, drawn by black horses and bearing a flag marked with the insignia of a lion, Parīkṣit set out from the capital to conquer the world, surrounded by his own army, which was equipped with chariots, horses, elephants, and infantry.
