विभुं तमेवानुस्मरन्नाशक्नोत्प्रतिभाषितुम् ॥ २ ॥
vibhuṁ tam evānusmaran nāśaknot pratibhāṣitum

[yet Arjuna6]; vadana-hṛt-sarojaḥ — [whose] lotus face and heart; śuṣyat — had withered; śokena — due to grief [caused by separation from Kṛṣṇa (kṛṣṇa-viśleṣa-hetunā)]; [and who had thus (ata eva)]; hata — been deprived; prabhaḥ — [of his] bodily luster; na aśaknot — was unable; pratibhāṣitum — to reply [uttaraṁ vaktum]; anusmaran — remaining continuously absorbed in thoughts; tam eva — [of] Him alone; vibhum — the Omnipresent [Śrī Kṛṣṇa (vyāpakaṁ śrī kṛṣṇam)].
Translation
Yet Arjuna, whose lotus face and heart had withered due to grief [caused by separation from Kṛṣṇa] and who had thus been deprived of his bodily luster, was unable to reply, remaining continuously absorbed in thoughts of Him alone, the Omnipresent [Śrī Kṛṣṇa].
