Translation
It was by His prowess that on another occasion, even the all-powerful Śiva, [disguised as a tribal huntsman] and accompanied by Pārvatī, was astonished by me in battle. Being thus pleased, he awarded me his own pāśupata weapon, while the lokapālas headed by Indra also offered me their respective weapons. [It is indeed also a wonder that] by this very human body, I obtained a share of the magnificent throne belonging to the chief of the devas in Indra’s glorious palace in heaven.
