SB 1.13.11

अपि नः सुहृदस्तात बान्धवाः कृष्णदेवताः ।
दृष्टाः श्रुता वा यदवः स्वपुर्यां सुखमासते ॥ ११ ॥
api naḥ suhṛdas tāta bāndhavāḥ kṛṣṇa-devatāḥ
dṛṣṭāḥ śrutā vā yadavaḥ sva-puryāṁ sukham āsate

Synonyms

tāta — O uncle; api — are [kim27]; naḥ — our [asmākam28]; suhṛdaḥ — dear friends [meaning those who are concerned for our well-being (hita-cintakāḥ)]; bāndhavāḥ — [and] relatives; yadavaḥ — the Yādavas; kṛṣṇa-devatāḥ — whose worshipful deity is Śrī Kṛṣṇa [kṛṣṇa eva devatā yeṣāṁ te]; āsate — residing; sukham — happily; sva-puryām — in their city [of Dvārakā (dvārakāyām)]; [have they perhaps (te kvāpi)29]; dṛṣṭāḥ — been seen; vā — or; śrutāḥ — heard about; [by you (bhavadbhiḥ)].

Translation

O uncle, are our dear friends and relatives, the Yādavas, whose worshipful deity is Śrī Kṛṣṇa, residing happily in their city? Have you perhaps seen or heard about them?
