SB 1.10.30

एताः परं स्त्रीत्वमपास्तपेशलं निरस्तशौचं बत साधु कुर्वते ।
यासां गृहात्पुष्करलोचनः पतिर्न जात्वपैत्याहृतिभिर्हृदि स्पृशन् ॥ ३० ॥
etāḥ paraṁ strītvam apāstapeśalaṁ
nirasta-śaucaṁ bata sādhu kurvate
yāsāṁ gṛhāt puṣkara-locanaḥ patir
na jātv apaity āhṛtibhir hṛdi spṛśan

Synonyms

bata — how wondrous it is [expressing astonishment (āścarye)92]; etāḥ — [that] these [queens]; kurvate — confer [kurvanti93]; param — supreme [or exclusive (kevalam)94]; sādhu — honor [or splendor (śobhanam)]; strītvam — on womanhood as a whole [strī-jātiḥ95]; apāstapeśalam — which has been deprived of its independence [lit., its charm or beauty (peśalam), meaning its auspicious fortune (bhadram) or its independence (svātantryam)]; nirasta — [and] stripped; śaucam — [of] its purity [śucitvam]; [because (yasmāt)]; puṣkara-locanaḥ — [their] lotus-eyed; patiḥ — husband [Śrī Kṛṣṇa (kamala-nayanaḥ śrī kṛṣṇaḥ)96]; na jātu — never [na kadācid api]; apaiti — withdraws [nirgacchati]; yāsām gṛhāt — from their palaces; spṛśan — [and] delights [ānandayan]; hṛdi — their hearts; āhṛtibhiḥ — with precious gifts [such as the Pārijāta tree (parijātādi priya-vastv āharaṇaiḥ)].

Translation

How wondrous it is that these queens confer supreme honor on womanhood as a whole, which has been deprived of its independence and stripped of its purity, because their lotus-eyed husband [Śrī Kṛṣṇa] never withdraws from their palaces and delights their hearts with precious gifts!
