SB 1.7.22

अर्जुन उवाच
कृष्ण कृष्ण महाबाहो भक्तानामभयङ्कर ।
त्वमेको दह्यमानानामपवर्गोऽसि संसृतेः ॥ २२ ॥
arjuna uvāca
kṛṣṇa kṛṣṇa mahā-bāho bhaktānām abhayaṅkara
tvam eko dahyamānānām apavargo’si saṁsṛteḥ

Synonyms

arjunaḥ — Arjuna; uvāca — said; kṛṣṇa — O Kṛṣṇa; kṛṣṇa — O Kṛṣṇa; mahā-bāho — O Mighty-armed One; abhayaṅkara — O Bestower of fearlessness; bhaktānām — upon Your devotees; tvam ekaḥ — You alone; asi — are; apa-vargaḥ — the embodiment of liberation [(mokṣa-rupo’si), implying that You can bestow upon us even liberation from cyclic existence, to say nothing of mere protection from fire (asmākaṁ saṁsṛter mokṣam api dāsyasi kim utāsmād agnes-trāṇa-mātram);93 or the emancipator from, and the destroyer of, saṁsāra (apavargaḥ apavarjayitā nāśaka ity arthaḥ)94]; dahyamānānām — for those who are scorched; saṁsṛteḥ — from [i.e., by] the fire of cyclic existence [saṁsṛter hetoḥ95].

Translation

Arjuna said: O Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa! O Mighty-armed One! O Bestower of fearlessness upon Your devotees! You alone are the embodiment of liberation (apavarga) for those who are scorched by the fire of cyclic existence (saṁsāra).
